3D French Nails Technique

The 3D French nail construction technique consists of applying several layers of Acrylic Gel to achieve a beautiful and delicate gradient effect.

In this step by step we show you how to achieve it.

Step by step 3D French Nails: 

  1. Fit and adjust the mold on the nail to be constructed.
  2. Take out a pearl of Acrylic Gel Clear and build the base of the nail.
  3. Dry 30 seconds in LED or 1 minute in UV and proceed to pinching to achieve the desired curvature of the nail.
  4. Dry another 30 seconds on LED or 1 minute on UV.
  5. Remove the dispersion layer with the Finisher Gel.
  6. Profile the nail with the Blue Padded File 120/240 and clean with the Particle Cleansing Brush.
  7. Take out a pearl of Acrylic Gel Soft Pink and build the almond.
  8. Dry 60 seconds on LED or 2 minutes on UV.
  9. Choose the color of Gel Paint that you prefer for your creation and mix it with White Gel Paint degrading the tone as many times as you want.
  10. Enamel the entire skeleton of the nail with the lightest shade, not forgetting the edge of the almond.
  11. Dry 60 seconds on LED or 120 seconds on UV.
  12. Repeat the process taking out a pearl of Acrylic Gel Clear and build a “wall” bordering the almond.
  13. Dry again 60 seconds in LED or 2 minutes in UV and glaze with the intermediate tone that you have previously mixed, not forgetting the edge of the “wall”.
  14. Dry 60 seconds on LED or 2 minutes on UV.
  15. Proceed to build the next layer with an Acrylic Gel Clear pearl and dry 60 seconds on LED or 2 minutes on UV.
  16. Enamel this new layer with the darkest shade that you have previously mixed, not forgetting the edge of the “wall”.
  17. Dry 60 seconds on LED or 2 minutes on UV.
  18. Finish the construction of the nail with a last pearl and dry again 60 seconds in LED or 2 minutes in UV.
  19. Remove the dispersion layer with the Finisher Gel and use the 100/180 Gray Padded File to perfect the construction.
  20. Polish with the Flash Finisher File 100/100.
  21. Perfect the edges with the Thin Triangular Black File 180/240.
  22. Apply a layer of Seal Gel with Sun Filter and dry 60 seconds on LED or 2 minutes on UV.
