7 Tips for faster nail growth

Long and beautiful nails always bring more femininity and beauty to our hands. But many times we have the problem that our nails do not grow enough or when they do they are weak and break easily.
The rate of nail growth varies according to the individual and lifestyle. In general, fingernails grow on average about 4 millimeters per month.
But what can we do to promote nail growth?
- Take care of our diet with a diet rich in protein and vitamin D. A balanced menu with dairy products, eggs, meat, salmon, sardines…
- Exercise your fingers to increase blood flow to that area. It will help them grow stronger. Typing on the keyboard, playing the piano… In other words, perform small routines that allow us to activate the circulation.
- Use caution. Use gloves for certain activities such as scrubbing. Try to protect them from external aggressions and do not use them as tools to open soft drinks or peel off labels.
- Always file your nails in one direction to prevent them from breaking and becoming brittle.
- Use a repairing and strengthening treatment for strong and healthy nails. You can perform a first intensive treatment by applying the hardener for 15 days in a row once a night and follow with a maintenance treatment once a week.
- The shape of the nail is the key. Round and oval shapes promote nail growth. While straighter shapes such as square nails break more easily.
- The enamel not only beautifies the nails but also protects them and helps prevent the appearance of fungus and bacteria. Always use quality polish and apply a good base coat before applying color.
