Yolanda Pérez Álvarez was born in Sabadell in March 1978, a town near Barcelona. She studied in the same city in a semi-private school. When she was 7 years old (in 1985) her mother Mercedes opened her first business dedicated to brides. Yolanda and her sister Cristina used to play with the pins and hide among the dresses.

Y_COMO And how is the process laboratory of our workshop or studio. The “what” is important, it is the source of inspiration, but we are interested in the “how”. How to create, how to imagine, how to do it. In the “how” lies the true knowledge. Only if you investigate, experiment and know how, you can get the “what”. In our Lab we will work on the how from a point of view linked to society, how society and fashion experience together. How do you dress? How do you dream? How do you imagine? How do you think? How do you do it? How would you do it? In this second essay we have been very inspired by the space where we present this collection. A space full of imagination, rich in its architecture and at the same time full of history. An imaginary place, as well designed Xavier Corberó to create a mental space where to live. The collection should reflect that need to imagine and create that space with clothes, we all need a mental paradise where to be and feel at ease. We return to our pattern of origin, use of denim for being the fabric premise of the brand, more batik cottons, and recycled plastic in different prints Use of different pleats Soley in paradise colors. The inspiration of the collection is Xavier Corberó’s own idea: “What lies and underlies in all his works and what he answered in all the interviews: “To make poetry”.
